Born in Istanbul in 1963, Yavuz Biçer finished the Saint Michel French High School, graduated from the Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and has a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University. 

He started his career in 1985 with Ak-Ar Moulds, and is currently the Board of Directors Chair of SPS Senur Plastics, Ak-Ar Moulds, Eurobump Automotive, and Apro Aluminum.

He has dedicated considerable time and energy into developing the Arnica brand of Senur A.Ş., where he started working in 1988 and is currently a board member, and continues to take active roles in Design, Production and Marketing.

He is a board member of the industry organization Small Home Appliances Association (KESİD).

Yavuz Biçer is fluent in English and French, and is married with two children.
