Serkan Karataş was born in 1987 in Istanbul. After completing his mechanical engineering education, he started his business life in the family company Karataş Makina and took part in the purchasing, project development and manufacturing departments. He worked as a lecturer at the university in the fields of manufacturing technologies, casting and welding. He completed his pilot training, which he started at a young age, with a commercial airline pilot license. In addition to these trainings, he also received industrial machine programming and electronics training. He is fluent in English. He is interested in diving and sailing sports in his private life, besides he enjoys writing codes with electronic development cards and reading history on ancient civilizations.
