PAGEV Executive Board informed the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Işık of the problems of the plastics industry, and offered solutions

PAGEV executive committee visited the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology in his office to share the recent issues regarding the plastics industry, and offered PAGEV's solutions. Comprising the Chairman of Executive Board of PAGEV Yavuz Eroğlu, 2nd Deputy President Ali Zeki Karadeniz, Members of Executive Board Murat Özadam and Özge Yavuz and the Technical Coordinator Yağmur Cengiz, the PAGEV committee had a meeting with Işık on September 8th.

Current problems in the plastics industry and potential solutions, and phases and precautions regarding the project at hand for the domestic toys producers were discussed in detail during the meeting. We agreed on the primary location of the "Organized Industrial Zone for Toys", which is planned to be built as part of the domestic toys industry revitalization project that we brought into question at the meeting that gathered the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Işık and plastics, rubber and composite industries during the PlastEurasia Fair.

The Minister congratulated PAGEV for their active participation in the efforts to improve our domestic toys industry in an organized way in a short time, improve its presence in the foreign markets, design and manufacture high added-value products, develop new-generation characters for toys and cartoons based on our national culture and establish the Organized Industrial Zone for Toys, and promised to maintain their support in the future.
